On The Run makes bold, visual and interdisciplinary theatre which is comic and truthful. 

 

The company have toured the across UK and internationally to outstanding critical acclaim since they debuted their first production So It Goes at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2014.  The show went on to tour nationally and internationally with The Times calling it “an extraordinary debut”. It was also selected for the British Council Edinburgh Showcase 2015 and toured to China, Georgia and London’s Southbank Centre.

 

Tell Me Anything, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2016, toured across the UK and won the Suitcase Award at Pulse Festival.

The company have recently debuted their third piece, Everything I Didn't Say (previously titled The Rebirth of Meadow Rain) at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019 (Pleasance Theatre). It was developed with support from Shoreditch Town Hall and partnered with UK Says No More.

Hannah Moss

Artistic Director

Hannah is an actor, comedian and theatre-maker from London. She has toured nationally and internationally with So It Goes (as part of the British Council Showcase 2015) and has performed at venues such as the Southbank Centre, Shoreditch Town Hall, The Cruicible (Sheffield) and the New Wolsey.

 

Trained at Ecole International de Theatre Jacques Lecoq, Hannah is currently writing The Rebirth of Meadow Rain, a darkly comic tale of revenge with support from Shoreditch Town Hall.  

 

Hannah also runs the cabaret night Bling It On, which takes place quarterly at Above The Arts Cabaret Club, Leicester Square.

Emma Tompkins

Artistic Associate - Set design

Emma trained in Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent and specialises in designing for devised theatre, theatre for young audiences and new writing, working with artists like On the Run, Analogue, Daniel Bye, Inspector Sans, Testament, DugOut, Flickbook Theatre, Nele Van Den Broeck & On The Button to name but a few. She designs and co-produces professional community productions with Simon Ryninks as The Milo Wladek Co, and works with the National Theatre devising and delivering design and puppetry workshops for Schools and young people.

Alice Massey

Producer

Alice is an independent theatre producer based in Bristol. Alice works with artists that tell important stories which are rich with meaning, innovation and insight. Alongside producing The Rebirth of Meadow Rain, she also currently works with Tessa Bide Productions, Pins and Needles Productions and Cousin Jack’s Theatre.

On The Run was originally founded by Hannah Moss and David Ralfe. David has now left theatre for pastures new!  We wish him all the best for the future!
